Review of Suicide Club (2001) by Anthony W — 27 Mar 2014

All I can say is...what the fucking fuck? This Japanese "horror" film has one of the most intriguing concepts and craziest opening scenes I've seen, but I nearly shut it off after forty minutes of nothing happening! I stuck with it to see if it would lead to some answers that I desperately needed: it didn't.

There are some truly horrifying acts of violence that really are the only memorable things about this turd, because once the film reaches the bowling alley scene, it had nowhere else to go except absurdity.

I honestly hope someone takes this concept and gives it an honest try, because it is fascinating and dark, and this shit couldn't pull it off.
