Review of Suicide Club (2001) by Andrew M — 09 Dec 2008
Suicide club is what The Happening wished it could have been. There's a really deep social commentary in this movie, as with most Japanese Horror, and it can at times be hard to work out what its trying to say.
But the key message is how easily youth today falls into ridiculous trends and not living for yourself. The trend in this film of course is suicide. I love movies that make you think, and though Suicide Club breaks off into a few wierd tangents that didn't really sell, I still though it was a great watch.
