Review of Suburban Girl (2007) by Sam U — 21 Jan 2008
No actor has ever given a more winking performance than Alec Baldwin does in this movie. Every frame he's in just screams "Yeah, I'm in this movie, but I don't like it any more than you do.
" Exhibit A: the hat he wears on the drive upstate. Exhibit B: his constantly changing hair style. Exhibit C: "Remember, you love me." I can't comment about much more about this movie, because a lot of it was drowned out by my own raucous laughter.
But, I can say, with no reservations what so ever, that Richard Dreyfuss is not in it. The best unintentional comedy I've seen since "In the Name of the King.".
