Review of Suburban Girl (2007) by Caleb M — 24 Jan 2010
Suburban Girl is surprising. It's full of cliches and obvious, lazy literary references, but it actually takes time to let its actors create real characters and when it comes to character development, the script takes some chances that pay off. Everything else is little more than pretty pictures and sounds, but when it comes to these people, you actually care. They don't do stupid, inane things, but have real-life problems.
Further proof that Alec Baldwin is a master, even in a straight-to-dvd flick.
