The character in this movie are all devoid of an substantial normal human connection. It really ends up being the point of the movie in that mode it succeeds. The only chance where Oliver's goes to join his girlfriend Yasmin Page at the hospital after her mother's brain cancer surgery He fails to show up.
Craig Roberts as Oliver Tate and the point of access to the movie. His character and the rest of the cast is adequately quirky and off to make the trailer work. His endless quippy response to his world and disjoint delusion fail to make him an addressable to me. The movie spends equal parts of him fulfilling his adolescent crush and trying to save his parents marriage. Neither story has adequate development to make them intriguing or at all interesting.
A painful nihilistic view of a sad world devoid of any insight.
