Review of Street Trash (1987) by Darrin C — 28 Jan 2015
An initially hard film to like, repugnant, vulgar, filled with really hatefully unpleasant characters and yet it has a junky allure to it which is undeniable, Street Trash is a dirty, gross, nasty little bad taste guilty pleasure, filled with messily melting homeless people gallore, which, if your like me, is all you really need to hear to want to give it a go.
Plus you get a game of "keep away" with a severed penis, a severed heads view of an upskirt, which you don't see often. It's a real acquired bad taste but if you've got the stomach and the sick sense of humor for it, it's a sleazy, gross-out treat, you feel like it's still under your finger nails after you've finished watching.
