Review of Street Fighter (1994) by Brent D — 10 Mar 2009
Some bad lines and bad acting and JCVD only takes the role seriously half the time (meaning the second half of the movie), but still a fun ride with good casting on all parts, though the presence of Kylie Minogue or Cammy is questionable (and I use "or" because I'm not sure if it's the character or the actor that's misplaced) and the way they used Blanka was offensive -- something I could tell even at the easily impressed age of twelve.
Even so, I think I'm among the few who actually realize it's not as bad as some video game movies, at least from that era *COUGHDOUBLEDRAGONCOUGH*. Plus, it's definitely better than anything Uwe Boll ever made (though not as good as the producers/director might think).
