Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Vagelakis — 11 Jan 2012
So, I watched 'Straw Dogs' after so much I had heard about it. Surely, it wasn't a bad film but it is so, SO overrated and it hasn't aged quite well.
It creates a decent atmosphere but without being very tense and the end could have been much more better. Overall it is a step over 'average'.
Cannot say that the remake will be better and I don't think that it will be worth the time watching it.
