You can't ignore the unabashed ferocity in which Sam Peckinpah made Straw Dogs. He's a real risk taker. With all that aside it does have some of the most ambiguous & frustrating material I've ever seen in a movie.
The relationship between David, Amy & Venner is baffling. Even still, it's a movie you won't soon forget.
