Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Adrian B — 21 Apr 2010
1951 was a great year for films: The African Queen, An American in Paris, A Place in the Sun, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Strangers on a Train. Another fascinating mysterious and suspense film directed by Hitchcock.
The stalking is quite amusing and the climax is what Hitchcock does best. Also, like two films I have recently watched, Kiss Me Deadly and Laura, all these films don't have mainstream actors, such as Cary Grant or Katherine Hepburn, to make them masterpieces.
They are good with the cast in which they are made up of.
