Classic Hitchcock. Walker was brilliant as the psychotic guy with the plan to carry out the murder of a strangers wife. The stranger doesn't take him seriously until she turns up dead. This movie is beautifully paced with a wonderful last 15 minutes.
There is even a super little punch line right at the end.
