Review of Stranger Than Paradise (1984) by Jennifer C — 01 Mar 2009
Hilarious piece of cinema. John Lurie is the best thing about this film, giving a deadpan performance than cannot help but make you laugh. Jarmusch's simplicity in his film making is all part of the beauty of it.
Well written, well acting, well performed. The dialogue is what keeps this relatively uneventful film relentlessly entertaining.
