Review of Strange Days (1995) by Andrew W — 30 May 2011
Being asked to sympathize with a broken down bootleg porn pusher is a little bit of a stretch. If you can manage it, the story becomes believable, even thought provoking. Some of the acting is laughable, but Fiennes manages to sell his end of the story well enough.
Strange Days is a little longer than it needs to be, but isn't a total waste of time either. It's worth watching, but only after you've watched everything at the top of your list.
