Review of Strange Days (1995) by Ian T — 29 Apr 2015
One thing we learn about the future from films is that in the future the future will be futurey. Strange days is no exception, with an oddly lit LA, descending into chaos.
Although it feels badly dated, this film is quite a lot of fun and very underrated. Apparently it was a flop in its day, I can't really see why, it ticks a lot of blockbuster boxes, it even a little formulaic in parts but Bigelow really knows how to put together an action sequence. There are a lot of dodgy wigs in this film. There are a lot of tits in this film.
