Review of Straight Time (1978) by Shounak B — 03 Mar 2013
This film can be represented as an exact example of a person's reaction and destruction of own self under the pressure of circumstantial incidents. The protagonist,or you may say the anti hero as recently completes his Time and goes out after a long time.
But his past life, his habits don't make him free and from that point, in spite of his desperation to start a normal life, he can't help to do wrongful job again and during then,he even impressed a girl by his offensive personality.
Very maturely handled, this film tells a realistic story a charter having eccentric behavior.
