Review of Stormbreaker (2006) by Richard Y — 03 Mar 2011
I think I liked this movie, partly because I was an Alex Pettyfer fangirl, even before he became a teen heartthrob in America and partly because I was among the group of people who read the books.
Alex Rider is a seemingly normal teenager, groomed to be a spy. After his guardian (his uncle) disappears, he is enlisted to save the world.
I didn't think I can sum it up in 2 sentences, but there it is. But, there are other perks, excluding the very hot, but very underaged Alex Pettyfer. Such as Ewan McGregor, some type of deadly octopus creature (its been awhile, sorry), and a some really cool martial arts scenes. It's like watching James Bond as a teenager.Alex Rider even gets a love interest-ish. Too bad there was never a sequel.
