Review of Stormbreaker (2006) by Clayton R — 24 Apr 2012
It is somewhat loyal to the book, has intriguing set design and a nice score, plus Alex Pettyfer does look the part. But the actual spy-story is excessively simplified to being childish, the pace is over-accelerated losing any interest, the action sequences are dull and visibly choreographed, and the celebrity actors boost no appeal to the parents watching this with their kids.
The book's easily grander.
