Because this is a rock and roll movie, you might expect another Spinal Tap.
This is a different kind of movie in that the characters aren't caricatures, but represent what you think real rock and roll animals look and act. Or should I say "Classic Rock and Roll Animals".
Like Tap, the acting is quite good, performed by top-flight actors (Stephen Rea, Bill Nighy, etc.), as are the songs.
You will definitely laugh a lot during this movie; though there aren't many memorable lines like Tap, the movie is just good. Along with the bonus of damn good music.
A definite worthwhile rental.
