Review of Still Alice (2014) by Shayne C — 10 Jun 2015
Julianne Moore's gripping performance single-handedly carries this movie, a well deserved Oscar for her. Beyond that, the big named cast doesn't quite come through as it could and the ending was a little underwhelming.
The script could have been a little more engaging. If it wasn't for Julianne Moore and the sheer emotion a plot like this brings the movie would be a heck of a lot worse.
