You go through the struggle with Alice and her family. The end left room for Alice's dignity, buy not showing you or taking you to the end of Alzheimer's disease. It ends beautifully. If you don't cry at any point in this movie, then you have ice in your veins.
This truly is a touching, wonderful movie.
