Review of Still Alice (2014) by Imthenoob — 24 Nov 2018
The journey of Alice as she slowly slips into early-onset Alzheimers is a tough one to watch because of Moore's amazingly realistic performance. She more than desire any and all praise she received for her role and I'll give a shout to Baldwin as well because he did a great job playing Alice's husband. I guess Moore's powerhouse performance just overshadowed him but that's how it is when you are up against one of the best performances of the year.
So with that compelling story and great acting by the cast, It really does make Still Alice a must watch. My only issue with the film was that the pacing kind of dips in and out, Especially in the second half.
