Essentially E.T. for adults. This is a good little road movie with a twist. Jeff Bridges is very good as the childlike spaceman learning of earth and Karen Allen turns in a sexy performance full of sympathy.
A well made film that is certainly nothing new but will please fans of Carpenter or 80's movies.
