A much gentler film than we're used to seeing from director John Carpenter(Halloween,Assault On Precinct 13,Escape From New York) this sci-fi romance could almost be considered his "E.T.".
A wonderful film,it features excellent performances from the great Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen.Carpenter's direction is bang on too and it's highly effective and genuinely moving.Highly recommended.
