I cant believe what I just saw. I feel like this is a bad dream. What a disaster. How did this get 94%. Were the critics actually Star Wars fans? I am devastated by this movie and more so, the initial reviews. I feel like Ive been hustled. The people around me in the theatre seemed as shocked as I was at what we were seeing - and there was absolutely no excitement from anyone (even the children) on the way out. I am a HUGE Star Wars fan by the way. There were some good scenes but overall - oh my god - this was a horrible Star Wars movie. Im convinced that the studio is blinded by the dark side and influenced by corporate greed. Why not hire like 50 internet diehard Star Wars nerds (like me) to critique the movie before the final cut to give some constructive criticism?

I just watched the original three before viewing The Last Jedi so they were fresh in my mind. There is no comparison. How is it that 30+ year old movies look so much better. Return of the Jedi and Empire Strikes Back have amazing space scenes with great lighting, movement, and momentum. Other action scenes gave the audience feelings of risk, excitement and uncertainty as to the outcome . Those movies had purpose and resolution. This movie had neither. Nothing really happened in the scope of the big picture. It was like a bad episode of a TV series. I wonder if any of the ideas in this movie were challenged- or does everyone agree with them to keep their jobs? They should never have brought Han, Luke and Leia back - it was much to risky. Our imaginations of how they lived passed Return of the Jedi is far better than what we've seen here. I can't believe what they've done. I can't believe how we've been tricked again by the early reviews.

I'm curious as to why the reviews are either 4stars plus, or 2 1/2 minus? I would bet that any reviews over 4 are people who have not seen the originals, are so how trying to wish this into a better movie, or are critiques somehow influenced by the studio. Anything lower are probably ratings from the original generation. Just curious...??

There might be a short term surge in ratings and revenue for this movie but will diminish quickly as the true Star Wars fans will not be returning multiple times to watch their childhood favourite story ripped apart. What an arrogant, simple minded disregard for the the spirit of the originals. Can this be undone? I hope I wake up tomorrow and this is just a bad dream and I can go enjoy the real "Last Jedi" movie.

There are so many holes in this movie. It is so sad that this most incredible story has been absolutely pillaged to suck every dollar out of it. I wonder if "K" has something to do with this?

Many of the 4 ti 5 star ratings seem almost scripted like they are planted to promote the movie.

By the way.......I certainly don't blame the actors - I thought they were just fine, a few were fantastic actually.
