Review of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) by Kevin H — 15 Apr 2009
After the debacle that was Star Trek VI, the original cast says farewell in this great little adventure that incorporates some awesome action and a damn fine mystery story as well. Chrisopher Plummer turns in an excellent performance as a Klingon General who is none too happy with the prospect of peace, a sort of counterpart to Kirk who undoubtedly feels the same way.
Kirk and McCoy's trial is a great scene as is their entire imprisonment and the finale is rousing. A great send off for the entire gang, too bad Nichele Nicholls' name was spelt "Uhuru" in the closing credits though!
