Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by John A — 24 Jul 2010
Star Trek goes back to its roots, with cheap and nasty special effects and a plot built around a god figure. It also has one of the worst things ever committed to film in the Uhura fan dance sequence. But in going old school it also has time for the Kirk-Spock-McCoy relationship, so at least it's got that going for it.
