Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Alex H — 04 Mar 2013
Huh, 21%. granted, it's not the best of the Star Trek, I do agree that Spock and Sybok's relationship was underdeveloped. I didn't get the sense that they were brothers at all. and I will also agree that the final action sequence between Kirk and the fake god was very cheesy, lazy, and stupid.
No doubt that it is lazily filmed, but the regular crew was still entertaining enough to keep me going, and I actually liked where the plot was going. I really liked the scene where Sybok shows us what Bones had done to his father.
I really felt sorry for what Bones did, I have no doubt that he's so grumpy about things.
