Review of Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) by Sara B — 18 Jul 2018

Seriously did we all watch the same movie lol I've loved this movie since the first time I watched it at 7 years old in '89. I mean, my god, it begins with Kirk, Spock, and McCoy on a camping trip lol beans, whiskey, and a sing along ?? Bones freaking out over Kirk climbing the mountain has always been hilarious to me.

I also love the overarching theme for the search for a higher power, meaning. Kirk asking 'God' what he needs with a starship is so epic. I've always found Sybok a fascinating character. Scotty and Uhura are adorable.

Is it the best of the original movies? No lol but it's still an enjoyable, interesting, and humorous entry in the TOS series.
