Review of Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) by Saran M — 11 Mar 2015

A non-stop thriller all the way through (although the threats seem to lessen as the movie goes on). You'll either enjoy that fact or hate it. While the plot is a little weak (simply because it isn't entirely groundbreaking), the film is beyond worth a watch for it's visual effects, themes, and character development.

Cumberbatch convincingly performs his ruthless role. Not better than the first, but in no way ruining the reboot as other sequels have in other series, Into Darkness entertains Trekkies and casual watchers alike.
