Childish, full of holes and douchebags. Uhura spends 90% of her on-screen time nagging Spock about not showing his emotions (a trope vastly overused in just about every movie in existence and outside Uhura's original character).

Kirk is a literal asshole to Spock rather than friendly joking. I keep waiting for these clowns writing these new movies to make Kirk heroic or appear incompetent. Instead they have him nearly committing a massive war crime unprovoked.

It's disappointing that people won't give this movie the criticism it deserves. I'm surprised major critics gave this any good reviews - makes it look like a fixed match with critics taking bribes because there's little worth praising in this movie except cool special effects.
