Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Jeffrey M — 17 Feb 2008
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, is about exactly as the title suggests. This film takes after the second film as the original cast embarks on a voyage to retrieve Spocks body. Where they search is where the restrictive planet Project Genesis is.
Meanwhile, a Klingons Ship head to there at the same time to steal knowledge of Project Genesis for itâ??s own sinister use, and wonâ??t let anything stop in their way. This is one of the weakest Star Trek films of the series.
The movie is way too out there and has way too much dispense your belief moments. This movie is also one of the cheapest made of the series with lousy special effects and sets. The only notable thing about this movie is it did star Christopher Lloyd as the main Klingon villain, which he plays it quite well.
Overall, this is one of those Star Trek films you could go with out seeing.
