Review of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984) by Brad C — 09 Feb 2011
Something is seriously missing from this outing. the destruction of the enterprise and the "fate" of a certain son can't seem to save it (the kid didn't have any time to develop... introduce him in one movie, kill him in the next? stupid.
oh whoops, that was a spoiler I was trying to avoid. oh well) christopher lloyd as a klingon is odd, but passable (i grew up on worf, so scrawny white guys playing klingons is just strange to me). the stakes just don't seem that high here.
ii brought back khan and this one has some faceless klingons... who cares? seriously though, who wrote this script? the dialogue is awful, what little there is of it. not a single memorable thing said.
luckily iv made up for this by a fairly large margin. this is probably the worst of the st films in my not-so-humble opinion.
