Review of Star Trek: First Contact (1996) by Jason R — 04 Jun 2010
One of the best Star Trek movies (and the first solo Next Generation film). It feels bigger than a normal episode, which the other Next Generation films have a problem with, and it's story is pretty good.
There are weak points in it (the Cromwell stuff gets boring) and some of the FX look dated from when they were new (the space walk stuff), but overall entertaining and relatively fast paced.
