Review of Star Trek: First Contact (1996) by Misha C — 22 Aug 2018
The eighth Star Trek film is without a doubt one of the best installments in the entire franchise. The intense action and suspense are masterfully melded with throw-back elements people are happy to see.
But what really seals the deal are the direct confrontations of the frailties of Picard, Data, and Zefram Cochran. Those types of human presentations provided some of the greatest television episodes in Star Trek (i.
E. Tapestry, The Inner Light) and helped to make this film one of the most memorable, second only for some to The Wrath of Khan (though not me; this is my absolute favorite).
