Among the top Star Trek motion pictures. The fact that the Borg were given a "queen bee" twist, in my opinion, rendered one of the greatest sci-fi foes of all time useless. Because of this, any Borg storylines that come after this film (Voyager) are also damaged.
Beyond that significant issue that was incorporated to the Trek universe, the film was excellent on its own.
