Review of Star Trek: First Contact (1996) by Leo K — 11 Jun 2009
When comparing this movie with the other films (from the Next gen actors), I cannot say I appreciated this as much as I should've. But I understand this was probably the best of the last 4 movies (minus the recent remake).
The entire rough human civilization element was very... drawn out and silly. I don't see why the emphisis on alcohol was needed to represent how barbaric/infantile humans were prior to first contact. As if we would live in a pre-colonial like state after a 3rd world war...
I would've however enjoyed this movie if I watched it when I was 8 or 10. Decent at best.
