Review of Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures (2001) by Alexander J — 15 Jun 2007
A very insightful and revealing documentary on Kubrick, directed and produced by his longtime companion and brother-in-law, Jan Harlan. For once, Cruise is reduced to a simple narrator and leads us through Kubrick's life from start to finish.
The interviewees are top-notch and after seeing this doc, I thought to myself: "Gee, what a great filmmaker". Watch this one, see his movies. Get blown away.
