Review of Stalag 17 (1953) by Mike M — 07 Feb 2014
This is one classic that has it all: action; suspense; intrigue - even laugh-out-loud comedy. Stalag 17 (the story of a group of American WWII POWs inside Nazi Germany who must ferret out a spy within its ranks) is a thrilling, funny and endlessly entertaining flick that is strongly written, directed and acted.
Holden and cast are excellent, with plot twists and genuine yuks-a-plenty. Who's the rat inside Stalag 17? Find out for yourself. As eventual knock-off Schultz of Hogan's Heroes would say: "I know nothing .
. .".
