Review of Stagecoach (1939) by Mike W — 21 May 2010
John Wayne's great, but Thomas Mitchell (Uncle Billy in "It's a Wonderful Life") steals the show as the drunken Doc Boone and won an academy award for best supporting actor. Everything in this is done just right and because the characters are drawn so well, its easy to ignore some of the rear projection shots.
