Review of Stagecoach (1939) by Scott S — 16 Feb 2011
Stagecoach is a perfect little western. The landscapes shots are still magnificent even in black and white. The climactic action sequence has more action than any other film with blown out effects. The performances are of course so natural and convincing, especially John Wayne's which might also be my favorite of all time.
He was more handsome and cooler when he was slim.
