Review of Stage Fright (1950) by Ben S — 02 Aug 2009
The air runs out of the balloon before "Stage Fright" is over. An early artistic decision by Hitchcock doesn't really hamper the film as much as others seem to feel it does, but even without this choice this movie would still just be considered an "O.
K." entry in the Hitch canon. Alastair Sim, however, is terrific in a meaty supporting role.
