Review of Stage Fright (1950) by David S — 31 Mar 2013
Not classic Hitch, this 1950 film did little to indicate that the decade would belong to Hitchcock. Jane Wyman is a bland lead, and the story is a cheat. With the famous "false" flashback. Thank God for Dietrich, Alistair Sim, and Pat Hitchcock.
They give the movie what little life it has.
