Review of St Trinian's (2007) by Hilary D — 26 Aug 2009
Not the greatest film, plot and story were rather weak and unoriginal (I mean there have been other films that ripped off the original St Trinian's that was originally written in WWII) and it was kinda ridiculous and over the top.
..that being said I loved it. Ha ha. It was pretty hilarious, especially all the Pride and Prejudice and Colin Firth references. It was exactly what it was trying to be. That's not saying younger impressionable girls who see this and think that behaviour is ok would be good, because that wouldn't be.
I wouldn't want my daughter thinking she could do whatever she wanted with no real consequences, as happened to the girls in the film. Wrong message to be sending out, but entertaining nonetheless.
