Review of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) by Brandon M — 29 Sep 2011
I could relate to this film. I didn't want to- it starts off horribly... with awful annoying dialogue. And watching an 80s movie like this in our current economic crisis is like watching a movie from another planet.
But watching these 7 characters come to terms with adulthood is surprisingly resonate- Except for Emilio Estavez's stupid plotline where he stalks Andie Macdowell's character (who's a doctor, of course) with a frightening tenacity.
