Review of Spotlight (2015) by Ken S — 24 Mar 2016

The 2015 Best Picture Winner about the Boston Globe investigation into sexual abuse within the Catholic Church is a fine film. It reminded me of "All the President's Men" about, as both are true stories fictionalized accounts of a newspaper investigative team uncovering a major cover up.

This is a well made movie, with a fine cast. Keaton and Ruffalo are especially good. It's a good story, one that is equal parts depressing and incredible (in it's frightening scope). Not an uplifting story, but a good one.
