Review of Split (2017) by That Awkward G — 08 Apr 2017

Split accomplished more than I expected. Between the incredible acting from James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy and Betty Buckley. The eerie unsettling feeling the film has throughout the entirety of its runtime.

How immersive the film is with its camera angles and perspective to make you feel as if you were there in the film, alongside the characters. And the signature Shyamalan twist was brilliant and I never would have guessed would ever happen! Aside some flashback sequences that didn't flow as well with the rest of the movie, and some characters that I felt maybe could have been better developed(and maybe better acted), Split is a fantastic film! It's a great fun, creepy time for casual moviegoers, and even better for fans of M.

Night Shyamalan, for he has returned, and is back to making masterfully made pieces of cinema!
