Review of Splendor in the Grass (1961) by Shelby P — 23 Jun 2007
Elia Kazan knows his shit. This is Natalie Wood's best role (and I've seen all of her movies) and Warren Beatty is exceptional. The unrequited teenage love backdrop is just a minor part to this story of love, life, and angst.
A must-see, but don't watch if you don't want to sob your brains out.
