Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Sean T — 06 Jul 2017
Spiderman 1 and 2 are still my favorite Homecoming is comes in third.
I will say I like this Peter Parker more than all others that have come before. I don't like the universe surrounding Peter Parker this multiculturalism kills my vision of the universe I envision the ethnic Flash Gordon, the ethnic MJ. I understand I get it that this is how comics are these days but I prefer the original Spiderman. It just seems like they really wanted to do Miles Morales Spiderman but either Marvel or Sony didn't have the balls to do it, and I like Miles Morales spiderman but I wish they would have not mixed the universe's as much save that for a Doctor Strange sequel or something.
Having said all that I enjoyed the way the relationships played out they all seemed genuine besides the Flash Thompson character just seemed forced each moment on screen.
This also feels like a marvel movie it's good time at the theater.
