Review of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) by Rianjohnson15 — 15 Feb 2021
This is the laziest and most inaccurate Spider-Man I've ever seen in a mile. Has Jon Watts ever read a Spider-Man comic before? It's like he wants Tom's Spider-Man to compete with Andrew's Spider-Man as the worst iteration.
The story feels very simple, and it gets very filler at times. There are no consequences or impacts from this movie. No web slinging, no wisecracks, no Spidey Sense. The jokes aren't relatable and aren't even funny.
The characters feel so Disneyland.
