Review of Speed Racer (2008) by Laura W — 26 Sep 2010
The Wachowski brothers did a very good job converting this anime cartoon into a movie. That being said, this is a movie based on a 1958 anime series; so judge it by what it is. I never was attracted to this cartoon when I was a kid, and the movie held only a vague interest for me.
I am one who likes to re-watch my favorite moviies, though entertaining at the time, this is one movie I will not be watching again.
